Social Events Coming Soon
The SWMVC Trustees are in the process of establishing some regular social activities in the village hall as part of our drive to support the aims of the charity in providing a place for recreation, help establish a centre of the village and consolidate the viability of the hall going forward. In part this will reflect the origins of the Village Hall as a social club.
We recently held a Wine Tasting evening and a Quiz Night. It is intended that these repeat at least three times a year. The following are confirmed dates:
- 13th April – Wine Tasing – A Taste of Austria
- 11th May – Quiz Night
- 22nd June – Wine Tasting – Wine and Cheese Pairing
- 14th September – Quiz Night

Steep Film Club – in Memory of Sir Alec Guinness
Steep Film Club have been showing films in the Village Hall since 2004. It has it’s own Audio Visual equipment with a comprehensive speaker for great sound, and high definition video projection onto a large screen.
